Scarecrows to take over Brentwood City Park

Brentwood’s City Park will be commandeered by a cluster of scarecrows Friday, Oct. 19 during the inaugural Scarecrows in the Park event, hosted by the Brentwood Parks and Recreation Department.

As of today, 12 displays created by local residents and six created by city departments are slated to go up between noon and 7 p.m. and be on display until Oct. 26. Awards will be given Oct. 26 to the best non-professionally and professionally designed scarecrows prior to a presentation of Movie in the Park. For more information, call 925-516-5444.
