Antioch Economic Development Commission seeks candidates

The city of Antioch is looking to fill two partial-term Economic Development Commission vacancies. Candidates must be city residents or own or operate a business in the city. The EDC is a committee comprised of community volunteers whose function is to address economic development issues within the city. It makes recommendations to the City Council and staff regarding policies, regulations, marketing, development strategies and planning activities designed to enhance the city's economic base and create quality jobs. The seven-person committee serve four-year terms. The EDC meets at 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month in February, April, June, August, October and December. Applications are available here.
