Steve Kinsella of The Kinsella Theater Group announces that the group will for the first time bring two Summer Intensive Theater Camps to the East Count area. The classes meet three hours daily, Monday through Friday.

Kinsella has led, consulted or directed for most major theater camps in the Bay Area.

The Brentwood Teen Theater will be presenting one camp for 13-to-20-year-olds, who will present “West Side Story.” The camp, including performances, runs June 8 to July 18 from 1 to 4 p.m. till Tech week.

A second camp is for actors ages 8 to 13, who will present Barrett Lindsay Steiner’s parody of “Pirates of the Caribbean,” called “Pirates of the Jelly Bean.” The camp, including performances, runs June 8 to July 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (and on some evenings during Tech week).

Limited scholarship and work trade positions – plus dramatic discounts for early registration – are available. Call 925-516-9009 or visit www.brentwoodteentheater for details.
