Ford contest offers ‘Idol’ trip, helps local charity

Want a chance to win a trip to a live taping of “American Idol”? Bill Brandt Ford, 8100 Brentwood Blvd. in Brentwood, hosts Go Further With Ford on Thursday, Nov. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The event features the unveiling of the 2012 Fusion and an opportunity for guests to showcase their judging skills as part of a contest to win a VIP trip for two to Los Angeles next year for an “American Idol Season 12” taping.

If you plan to attend, pre-register at www.gofurtherwithfordnight.comhttp://randomactsoffusion.com/ and you can help provide food and toys needy families in far East County this Christmas. For each registered guest, Ford will donate $10 to the Brentwood Regional Community Chest, and Bill Brandt Ford will match it.

Food and toy donations for the Community Chest can also be dropped off at the event.
