The varsity boys volleyball team had fun in its first home game of the season on March 10 against Livermore, winning 3-1. The players were comfortable in their surroundings and executed with consistency.

Coach Bess Haldi shifted players into different positions three times and utilized the entire squad. Michael Favalora recorded a triple double-double, which might be a first in the program.

The JV squad, which won 2-0, made similar lineup changes that met with similar success. The varsity and JV games were both come-from-behind victories. The players kept their composure and fought their way to victory. In game one, Estefan Garcia reeled off seven straight service aces to help the Patriots overcome a substantial deficit and rally to victory.
