Pacific Gas and Electric Co. has joined the effort started by the Take Back Antioch organization to rebuild City Park after it was severely damaged in a fire on the evening of Sept. 17.

PG&E will present Take Back Antioch with a $12,500 grant, matching the $8,500 it has already collected, during a ceremony at the park tomorrow from 10 to 11 a.m.

Take Back Antioch wants to raise $25,000 to cover the city’s insurance deductible to get the park rebuilt.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony. City Park is located at A and 10th streets in Antioch. For more information, call 415-973-5930.
