Liberty senior Brandon White fights through traffic on his way to the hoop during the Lions’ 61-59 win over Oakland Tech Jan. 3. White’s 17 points led all scorers. The Lions trailed 33-26 at halftime, but outscored the Bulldogs 35-26 in the second half. The 8-6 Lions lost their last preseason game 59-48 to Franklin Monday night. Liberty kicks off its Bay Valley Athletic League play at home Friday against Freedom at 7 p.m.
