Residents are invited to take to the dance floor or just sit, listen and tap their toes as the Big Band era comes alive at the Brentwood Senior Citizens Club, Inc. Big Band Dinner Dance on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Brentwood Senior Activity Center, 193 Griffin Lane.

The event features a performance by What’s Up Big Band, an 18-piece dance band performing the classics of Glenn Miller, Harry James, Count Basie, Perez Prado, Benny Goodman and Helen Forrest.

Tickets are $18 for Senior Club members; $20 for non-members. Registration is held in advance at the Brentwood Senior Activity Center or the Brentwood Parks and Recreation Department office, 35 Oak St. The deadline to buy tickets is Monday, Feb. 4.
