Brentwood police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left four juveniles wounded Monday evening. The wounds were not considered life threatening.

Police were called to the 1100 block of Breton Drive at approximately 6 p.m. Responding officers learned that four victims, all Brentwood residents between the ages of 13 and 16, were standing on the sidewalk in front of a residence when fired on from a passing vehicle occupied by three to four white or Hispanic males. All victims were transported to area hospitals and are listed in stable condition.

The motive for the shooting is unknown. The suspect vehicle was described as a white or light-colored, late model four-door sedan. Those with information about this incident should call Detective Aguirre at 925-809-7726 or Detective Folena at 925-809-7743.

Really sad. We were in the grocery store and herd ambulances loudly pass by. I wondered what was going on, but this is the first I am finding out. =(
