Peripheral Canal meeting Wednesday

East County residents concerned about the future of the Delta and Gov. Jerry Brown’s proposed plans for a peripheral canal are invited to attend a town hall meeting Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. in Discovery Bay Elementary School. Guest speakers include Contra Costa County Supervisor Mary Piepho and State Assemblyman Jim Frazier.

Hosted by the grassroots organization Save the California Delta Alliance, the community forum will include updates on the peripheral canal project and the impact it would make on the Delta and its residents.
