In January, six Byron Delta Lions – Kathy Doty, Lisa Taylor, Ginny Perez, Joyce Musielak, Paulette Doyle and Alberta Stanley – joined a Lions In Sight mission to Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico.

Working with Dr. John Demshar of Stockton and Dr. Todd Pickens of Sutter Creek, they served as eye technicians, testing and dispensing eyeglasses. Close to 600 people were examined in two days, and more than 1,000 pairs of glasses were distributed.

Lions In Sight is an organization within Lions International, which organizes missions in nations throughout the world.
