Bestselling author comes to Heritage

Cheryl Strayed, author of the No. 1 New York Times bestseller “Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail,” the New York Times bestseller “Beautiful Things” and the novel “Torch,” will visit Heritage High School Wednesday, March 6 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for an event entitled A Conversation with Cheryl Strayed.

Strayed has written the “Dear Sugar” column for TheRumpus.net since March of 2010. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, the Washington Post Magazine, Vogue, Creative Nonfiction, The Sun and elsewhere. Her books have been translated into 26 languages. Oprah Winfrey chose “Wild” as her first selection for Oprah’s Book Club 2.0.
