The East Contra Costa Historical Society (ECCHS) Museum opens its doors for the 2013 season in April, and docents are needed to host public tours for weekend visitors and lead small groups of third-grade students on Monday and Tuesday mornings this spring.

Docent training and materials are provided by the ECCHS. The museum includes a 19th-century farmhouse and toolshed, a refurbished train car and a restored fire engine.

For more information, call Mary Lou Klovee at 925-516-7484.
