The You, Me, We Oakley! (YMWO) Project Committee introduced Oakley’s welcoming initiative to the local faith community during a special gathering last week in the Oakley Council Chambers.

Pastors, bishops and representatives from nine congregations, including Golden Hills Community Church Pastor Phil Hill, left, and Bishop Geoff Fowler, attended the event and explored how they could work together across denominational lines to create a more welcoming community.

Congregation leaders who were unable to attend may call YMWO Coordinator Gabriela Baños-Galván at 925-625-7011 or e-mail gaby@youmeweoakley.org.
