More than 40 Heritage and Liberty high students participated in this year’s Youth in Government program, sponsored by the City of Brentwood and the Brentwood Lions Club.

Students spent the day shadowing city employees to see what it takes to run a city. The students attended the Feb. 26 City Council meeting and presided over a mock council meeting on March 4, filling the roles of those they shadowed the week before.
