A sampling of recent law enforcement activity reported by East County police departments.

BRENTWOOD

April 1, 3 p.m. On Empire Way at Shady Willow Lane, a subject stopped for a vehicle code violation was found to have a citable warrant. He was arrested and released on a Promise To Appear.

April 1, 3:56 p.m. On Norris Street, several subjects were cited for possession of fireworks.

April 2, 3:40 a.m. On Amanda Circle, a subject cited (via citizen’s arrest) for disturbing the peace was taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

April 2, 6:35 p.m. An unidentified person used the credit card account of a resident of Richdale Court to make an online purchase out of the country.

April 2, 8:45 p.m. At a residence on Empress Lane, a subject took a handgun from the trunk of his vehicle, put it under his shirt and walked to the front door.

April 3, 10 a.m. On West Country Club Drive, an unidentified person entered a locked vehicle and stole a wallet.

April 3, 11:30 a.m. On Oak Street, a driver made an unsafe parking maneuver and struck a building. No injury was reported.

April 3, 9:46 p.m. On Village Drive, an unidentified person confronted his victim with a metal pipe and stole a pizza and cell phone battery.

April 4, 12:48 a.m. On Lone Tree Way, an unidentified person head-butted a victim twice in the face. The victim sustained a bloody nose.

April 4, 1:19 a.m. On Second Street, a subject stopped for a vehicle code violation was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. He resisted officers’ efforts at the scene, was arrested and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

April 4, 12:32 p.m. An unidentified person stole a vehicle from the garage of a residence on Oxford Lane.

April 4, 3:16 p.m. On Brentwood Boulevard, the driver of a vehicle displaying registration that had expired 12 months earlier was cited, and the vehicle was towed.

April 4, 6:48 p.m. On Lone Tree Way, an unidentified person stole cash from a victim’s purse. The incident was captured on video.

April 5, 1:25 a.m. On Sand Creek Road at Linden Street, two subjects were walking home from the movie theater when they were confronted at knifepoint by three unidentified persons, who stole cash, cell phones and an iPod.

April 5, 12:59 p.m. On Balfour Road, an unidentified person stole an unattended mountain bike.

April 5, 4:29 p.m. On Sand Creek Road at Shady Willow Lane, an abandoned bicycle was recovered and booked into the bicycle depository.

April 5, 6:46 p.m. Three unidentified persons entered a business on Lone Tree Way and were seen attempting to steal items from the store. They fled the scene and dropped the items outside the store before police arrived.

April 5, 11:18 p.m. On Brentwood Boulevard at Village Drive, a subject was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

April 6, 6:56 a.m. An unidentified person struck and knocked down a traffic signal on Central Boulevard.

April 6, 12:33 p.m. On Coconut Court, a subject was moving boxes in his garage when a pellet gun fell and shot him in the lower back.

April 6, 5:50 p.m. On Roselinda Court, a subject was found in possession of a stolen firearm.

April 6, 7:23 p.m. On Shady Willow Lane, an unidentified person hit a golf ball through a vehicle’s window.

April 7, 3:42 p.m. A resident of Ranier Street found a power tool in his side yard.

April 7, 11:34 p.m. On Arlington Way, a subject was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility.

ANTIOCH

April 6, 7:01 p.m. A 20-year-old Antioch resident was riding his bike in the 600 block of West 20th Street when he was confronted by three rival gang members, who shot him three times. The shooters are all described as adult males wearing white T-shirts. It appears the victim was targeted because he was wearing the colors of a rival gang. The suspects escaped in a white, four-door, 2006-07 Honda Civic driven by a female accompanied by a female front passenger. The victim, who was shot in the head and back, was taken to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery. He is listed in critical but stable condition. April 9, 5:45 p.m. On West 10th and G streets, 42-year-old Oakley resident Sally Leon was stopped for traffic violations and found to be in possession of a large amount of methamphetamine (approx 275 grams) packaged for sales. During the search of a storage container belonging to her, a firearm, ballistic vest and additional narcotics were also discovered. Leon was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility on weapons charges and numerous drug possession and sale charges, including the transportation of narcotics within 1,000 feet of school grounds. Some of Leon’s prior convictions include drug sales and transportation of a controlled substance while armed.

OAKLEY

March 30 – A vehicle was stolen on the 5300 block of Sunrise Meadows Lane.

March 30 – An incident of forgery and fraudulent documents was reported on the 3100 block of Main Street.

March 30 – A residence on the 4000 block of Woodhaven Lane was vandalized.

March 31 – A vehicle accident with property damage took place on Hall Street at Main Street.

March 31 – Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 5300 block of Pine Street and the 5400 block of Live Oak Avenue.

March 31 – Trespassing was reported on the 100 block of Big Break Road.

April 1 – On the 100 block of Malicoat Avenue and on Empire Avenue at Main Street, subjects were charged with possession of dangerous drugs.

April 1 – Arrest warrants were issued on the 100 block of Dowitcher Court and the 100 block of Almaden Court.

April 1 – Felony vandalism was reported on the 1800 block of Babbe Street.

April 2 – On the 100 block of Quail Valley Run, a subject was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

April 2 – Incidents of misdemeanor driving under the influence occurred on Live Oak Avenue at Main Street, and the 4500 block of Main Street.

April 2 – A residence on the 7000 block of Geranium Drive was burglarized.

April 3 – Incidents of battery were reported on West Cypress Road at O’Hara Avenue, and the 100 block of West Home Street.

April 3 – On the 4800 block of Frank Hengel Way, a subject was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

April 3 – Burglaries were committed on the 3300 block of Main Street and the 2100 block of Meadowlark Lane.

April 5 – On Empire Avenue at Laurel Road, a subject was charged with possession of a concealed firearm.

April 5 – On the 2100 block of Verona Avenue, a subject was charged with dissuading and threatening a witness.

April 5 – A misdemeanor hit and run occurred on the 100 block of Monet Drive.

April 5 – Domestic battery was reported on the 700 block of Solitude Drive.

April 5 – A vehicle parked on the 100 block of Puffin Circle was burglarized.

April 5 – Grand theft was reported on the 1400 block of Yosemite Circle.

DISCOVERY BAY

March 1 – A suspicious circumstance was reported on the 6000 block of Seneca Circle.

March 1 – On the 4000 block of Regatta Drive, a subject was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

March 5 – Misdemeanor battery was reported on the 2400 block of Discovery Bay Boulevard.

March 5 – A residence on the 6100 block of Seneca Circle was vandalized.

March 8 – Grand theft of bicycle took place on the 2400 block of Yosemite Way.

March 9 – A residence on the 1200 block of Beach Court was burglarized.

March 10 – A vehicle parked on the 2200 block of Sand Point Road was burglarized.

March 13 – Credit card fraud was reported by a resident of the 3600 block of Yacht Drive.

March 18 – An abandoned vehicle was removed from the 4800 block of Spinnaker Way.

March 18 – Incidents of grand theft were reported on the 4000 block of Beacon Place and the 1300 block of Shell Court.

March 22 – An illegal entry was reported on the 800 block of Discovery Bay Boulevard.

March 22 – Terrorist threats were made on the 4800 block of Cabrillo Point.

March 23 – On the 500 block of Keats Court, a subject was charged with violating a court order.

March 23 – An incident of public nuisance was reported on the 2100 block of Bridgeport Loop.

March 25 – Misdemeanor battery occurred on the 3600 block of Sailboat Drive.

March 26 – Petty theft from a vehicle was reported on the 5600 block of Schooner Loop.

March 29 – On the 1500 block of Discovery Bay Boulevard, a subject was charged with violating a custody order.

March 30 – An arrest warrant was issued on the 1500 block of Willow Lake Road.
