“I am very excited to work with the John Marsh Historic Trust,” said Ghiozzi. “Preserving the Stone House and creating a park will be a legacy I proudly leave to my children and all future residents. The house and the area surrounding it are so beautiful, and I look forward to the day we can all enjoy it.”
The John Marsh Historic Trust was created in 1994 with the goal of restoring the 1856 stone house John Marsh built on his 14,000-acre Rancho Los Meganos, located in present-day Brentwood. The house is part of a 3,900-acre state park now being planned.
