At the recent American High School Easter Tournament, Heritage High right-handed hurler Ryan O’Shea pitched the school’s first-ever no hitter against San Leandro High in a 12-0 massacre shortened by the Mercy Rule. The Patriots’ lanky senior struck out eight in five innings of quick work, preventing opposing batters from hitting a single ball to the outfield.
