The East County community came out last February to support its own. By simply shopping, dining and attending the movies at The Streets of Brentwood over the weekend of Feb. 27 to March 1, funds were raised for two “community partners”: the Rotary Club of Brentwood and Kids Helping Kids, a Brentwood charity – each of whom received $2,000.

The event was the first quarterly community sale planned by The Streets of Brentwood for 2009. The Sale! Part II’s community partners will be announced next week.

Applications have been accepted by The Streets of Brentwood for the last two months. The two selected Partner’s Programs will be highlighted during the month of May throughout The Streets, culminating in The Sale, Part II over the weekend of May 22 through 24, Memorial Day Weekend.
