Antioch’s Somersville Towne Center has the 411 to keep old cell phones out of the landfill: People are now welcome to bring their old cell phones in to a special on-site collection station for recycling.
The program, offered in partnership with SONY and EMA, is part of Somersville Towne Center’s ongoing focus on sustainability, which includes the Green GIVE Card, a special gift card made available in partnership with American Express. The card helps plant trees in U.S. forests with every purchase.
The special cell phone recycling center will be located at Guest Services at Somersville Towne Center, 2556 Somersville Road, until June 4. The program is available during the center’s regular business hours.
