Benito Carreon, 48, passed away peacefully in his home in Modesto the night of April 27. He lived with his longtime companion, Audrey Bonds.

Benito was a loving father, son, uncle and brother. He was known for his humor, helping others and he also loved to barbecue. Benito is survived by his children, Amy Carreon of Discovery Bay; Benito Carreon, Jr. of Discovery Bay; Anthony Carreon of Pittsburg; and Sera Carreon of Waterford. He is also survived by his parents, Julian and RoseMarie Carreon of Waterford; brothers, Joe Carreon of San Diego and Peter Carreon of Modesto; and sisters, Lisa Carreon Gonzales of Sacramento and Julie Carreon Rodriguez of Modesto.

Benito was laid to rest on May 1 at Lakewood Memorial and Funeral Home in Hughson. He will be missed dearly.
