Josh Twelker, a 15-year-old wakeboarder from Discovery Bay, recently competed in the Air Nautique Wake Games in Orlando, Fla., facing the nation’s best 14-to-18-year-old amateur wakeboarders.

Josh put on a dominant performance in the finals, posting a score of 66.67. The next closest competitor scored 45.00.

For his efforts, Josh brought home a nice trophy – and bragging rights. He hopes to ride the pro tour this year, and has plans to travel to the five pro tour stops, starting in Texas the end of this month.

Josh can be found out on the Delta practicing his flipping and spinning on a wakeboard four to five days each week. He also spends a lot of time training on a trampoline.

Josh is grateful for the support of riding partners Chris Dykmans and Jeremy Twelker, and his sponsors, CWB wakeboards, Babe’s Boat Products – and his biggest sponsors, Mom and Dad.
