Susan Robertson recently signed her letter of intent to play softball for Holy Names College. Holy Names, an NAIA private college located in the Oakland Hills, has a student body of approximately 1,100.

Susan has played softball for Freedom all four years and has been a varsity starter since her sophomore year. She helped lead Freedom to BVAL and NCS titles in 2008, and the team clinched another BVAL title with a win over Deer Valley last week. Susan also competes on the ASA travel team USA Elite as a catcher and second baseman.

Susan has made a lasting impression on her coach, Jeff Jonas, who said, “She’s the backbone of our defense and one of the best clutch hitters I’ve ever coached. We’ll be hard pressed to find anyone to fill her shoes.”
