Craig Steven Gildea, 50, entered into rest on June 16. He was born on March 13, 1959 in San Francisco and was a resident of Manteca for the past eight years.

Craig is survived by his loving wife Beverly Angel-Gildea of Manteca. His pride and joy were his children: Katherine and Michael Gildea of Manteca. He was a beloved son to Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Gildea of Sandy, Utah; and Mrs. Nancie Ferrando of San Mateo. He was an amazing brother to Kevin Gildea of Visalia; Susan Bjonerud of Modesto; Andrea Bright of San Mateo; Matthew Gildea of Salt Lake City, Utah; Jacob Gildea of Denver, Colo.; and Joshua Gildea of Ohio. He is preceded in death by his stepfather Andrew Ferrando.

Craig worked at Cinelux Delta Theatre in Brentwood prior to moving to Morgan Hill, where he was a theater operations manager. He truly enjoyed his job and was in the industry for more than 30 years. He enjoyed motorcycles and going on special outings with his children and wife.

Fatherhood was very important to Craig. To see his children laugh, smile and play was heaven on earth to him. Craig will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and loyal friend to many.

Services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Craig’s final resting place will be at Sky Lawn Memorial Park in San Mateo.
