State senator and candidate for the 10th Congressional District Mark DeSaulnier celebrates the grand opening of his campaign headquarters, 2014 N. Main St. in downtown Walnut Creek on Sunday, July 12 at 1 p.m. Refreshments will be served at the grand opening, followed by precinct walking and phone banking.
DeSaulnier, a Democrat, is running for the seat of former Congresswoman Ellen Tauscher, who retired from Congress two weeks ago. He has been endorsed by Tauscher, Congressman George Miller, Assemblyman Tom Torlakson, and more than two dozen local elected officials.
