Join H.A.R.P. (Homeless Animals Response Program) and Delta Discovery Cruises for a relaxing sunset dinner cruise on Sunday, Aug. 9. You may check in at 5:30 p.m. and enjoy the view from the top deck of the Island Serenade with a cocktail from the no-host bar.

The beautiful boat will leave the Pittsburg Marina at 6 p.m. A gourmet dinner will be served. Choices are steak, salmon or vegetarian pasta.

Tickets for the H.A.R.P. fundraiser are $50 and must be paid in advance. The money raised will pay for veterinary and foster care for the dogs and kittens that H.A.R.P. rescues. H.A.R.P. has re-homed 600 dogs and cats in the past three years.

The all-volunteer organization pays no rent and no salaries. All funds go to the care of the animals and community education programs. The economic situation in far East Contra Costa County has caused an upsurge in requests from the community for assistance.

This fundraiser is crucial to raise additional funds to help distressed homeowners. HARP’s non-profit tax ID number is 20-4706865.

This event is generously co-sponsored by Delta Discovery Cruises.

Please visit www.harp-rescue.org for information about H.A.R.P. or call 925-431-8546 for tickets. Visit www.deltadiscoverycruises.com for information about the Island Serenade.
