Cheryl, Kyle and Hayley Metzler packed their cool-weather gear – and their Hometown Weekly Newspaper – for an October vacation through Montana, Idaho, Washington and, as you can see, British Columbia, where Kyle and Hayley brandished the Oakley Press at the border town of Osoyoos. We don’t know if the Metzlers buy into British Columbia’s “Best Place on Earth” claim, but we think it’s unlikely that any True North newspaper can boast such devoted readers. (10-27-08)
