Brentwood’s Police Activities League (PAL) recently took a group of 25 kids to a special fundraising event at Antioch’s Golf and Games.

PAL kids got in for free and enjoyed hours of free video games, mini golf, go-carting and batting at the cages.

All proceeds raised during Family Fun Night, sponsored by Foresters, went to Brentwood PAL, which Officer Roger Wilson emphasized is up and running despite losing funding from the city earlier this year. “PAL is not over,” said Wilson. “We haven’t gone away. We’re still here and new programs are on the way.”

PAL will launch a martial arts program later this month, and will also be holding its annual S-K-A-T-E Competition on Sept. 19.

For more information on either program, call Wilson at 925-809-7819.
