More than 100 East County folk were shanghaied by the Antioch Chamber of Commerce on its nine-day trip to Beijing in the fall. Above, a smattering of the group is Seen With the Press against the backdrop of China’s iconic Great Wall. Once the group’s plane landed in China on the morning of Nov. 5, an all-out scramble ensued to find the nearest media center and discover who had been elected the 44th president of the United States.
