Marsh Creek Elementary School recently held its fourth annual Back to School BBQ, where kids had a blast face-painting, hula-hooping, bubble-racing, playing musical chairs and adorning the pavement with chalk art.

According to Amy McClellan of the Marsh Creek Parents Club, “With the schools not having much money to spare and the parents club using its money to fund cut programs, this year we cut down on the expenses and had the teachers and parents do fun activities … It was still so much fun and a great community builder.”
