Discovery Bay residents Mark and Denise Zupan celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in June with a trip to majestic Alaska, where they took the Discovery Bay Press with them on a dog-sledding adventure at Mendenhall Glacier. Denise and Mark’s Hometown Weekly Newspaper hopped a helicopter flight with them to the glacier, where they enjoyed, in Denise’s words, “the ride of my life.”
