JV West vs. Patriots North

The Delta Patriots JV West jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, topping the JV North 28-0 on Saturday. On their first play from scrimmage, Patriot running back Kyle Trego cut left off tackle and sprinted 39 yards for the West’s first touchdown.

The JV West scored on its next three possessions to put the game away by halftime with long touchdown runs by Bryce Oliver, Riley Conon and Conor Green. The West defense came up with five sacks, two by noseguard Jacob Snyder, who also recovered a fumble. West linebacker Alejandro Espinoza led the defensive shutout effort with eight tackles.

JV East vs. Ceres Saints

Also on Saturday, the Delta Patriots JV East got its second win of the season against the Ceres Saints. Conner Barnes and Zakari Gadberry led the defense to its second shutout of the season. Christian Anaya, Gunner Aceves and Troy Gains performed well defensively, making many tackles for minimal gains.

Quarterback Joesph Tolentino led things off with a score and connected with Carter Lewis, Justin Dam, Parker Lewis and Spencer Roher en route to touchdowns. Lyle Hunter and Jeremy Hodges provided great protection for Vincent Gonzales and Jacob Puente scoring efforts. Anthony Martinez connected multiple times for two-point conversions. Patriots East JV showed great pride, sportsmanship, and continue to improve.
