The drama department at Excelsior Middle School is polishing up the looking glass and striking a pose as it prepares to open its first show of the year, “Alice in Wonderland,” which takes the stage in Excelsior’s gymnasium on Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. (Theatergoers are encouraged to not echo the Mad Hatter’s “I’m late, I’m late, for a very important date!”) Excelsior Middle School is located at 14310 Byron Highway in Byron.
