Shifflett Photography organized the event to raise money for college scholarships. Each of the seniors wrote an essay showing their ambitions for their future and how they intend to use their future skills to enhance their community.
Many local vendors – The Catwalk, Pink Papaya, Beauty Lounge, Gabby’s Grind, Jazzed Espresso Café, His & Hers Formal Wear, and Ribbons & Roses – all helped make the fashion show a great success. Other local shops contributed to the fund: Nines American Cooking, Brentwood Golf Club, Crème Dela Gem Jewelry, Tummies to Tots, MCM Framing, Tres Jolie Salon & Spa, Weathervane, Twin Tigers, and ThePress.net.
Also a big thank you to Stephanie Ross for all the hours she put in meeting with vendors. Stephanie has just graduated from college and was a graduate of Liberty High School. She would now like to find work as an event planner. Thank you.
Alex Regalado is the winner of $345 toward books at the college he attends. Alex is interested in the entertainment industry, especially television and movies. She’s looking at Loyola Marymount as her choice in college and says she’s eager to begin the next step in her life. We believe she’ll be a success in all she does.
