McDaniel, a 2001 graduate of Liberty High School, returned to his Oakley home from Iraq on Sept. 2 and was escorted by members of the Warrior Watch Riders, Patriot Sentinel Riders and American Legion Riders motorcycle clubs to the party at the home of friend and fellow Marine Matt Valenzuela, whose own homecoming took place in November.
McDaniel has completed his service duty and will attend Sacramento State to study kinesiology.
