A wealth of individual and team accomplishments highlighted the Black Diamond Gymnastics team’s efforts at a recent competition in Santa Cruz. The Level 4 team earned an impressive second-place finish while the Level 5 team took home top honors.

Madison Jine gave one of the most outstanding performances of the event, placing first in her age division with an impressive overall score of 37.1. Alexis Camarra’s second-place finish and Kelsey Kirk’s third secured second-place honors for the Level 4 team.

The Level 5 team bested the competition with extraordinary performances by Amanda Fordal and Miranda Cosgrove, who tied for second place. Kyrsta Demello also shone, placing third in the Level 5 division.

Noteworthy performances by the Level 6 team included Jaclyn Kirby, who came in second overall, and Gabriella Cosgrove, who placed first on the beam.

Congratulations to the other Black Diamond gymnasts (Kaiya Patterson, Tiffany DeVincinzi and Rylee Hollenbeck) for their hard work. Look for more highlights as their competition season culminates with the state competition later this fall.
