The City of Oakley officially welcomes the holiday season beginning with the annual tree lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 at City Hall, 3231 Main St.

The festive event features carolers, hot chocolate and sweets, a visit with Santa and performances by the Freedom High School Choir and the Oakley Elementary School District Chorus.
