Members of the Summerset Singers helped celebrate the lighting of the Hospice of the East Bay’s Tree of Lights, which helps families celebrate and memorialize the lives of their friends and loved ones.

A total of 15 trees throughout Contra Costa are part of this annual commemoration, and Brentwood’s display, in the background above, consists of four beautiful redwoods at the entrance to Veterans Park on Balfour Road.

Since 1977, Hospice has provided medical, emotional and practical support for people dealing with life-threatening illnesses.
