Freedom High School student Trevor Pels was recently recognized by the Liberty Union High School District Board of Trustees for earning many accolades at Freedom High School, from a perfect score on the ACT Exam to becoming president of Freedom’s National Honor Society.

Trevor participates in the Interact and BETA Clubs on Freedom’s campus, and on Challenge Day committed himself to becoming a positive change agent for students. Trevor is also active in sports, having competed on the varsity swimming and varsity water polo teams, and volunteering as a cabin leader at O’Hara Park Middle School’s Outdoor Education Program.

This dedicated young man is currently enrolled in four advanced-placement courses and studying for two additional AP courses in hopes of attending Stanford University after graduation. For leisure, Trevor enjoys reading and writing, especially creative writing, novels and plays.
