The Hot Shots 12U team traveled Elk Grove to compete in the recent NSA Fall Round-Up, featuring 16 of the toughest teams in the area. The Hot Shots finished strong on Sunday, scoring 25 runs and batting .448. Hot Shot pitching and defense allowed only four hits on Sunday, including a no-hitter in the semifinal round. The Hot Shots will be hosting tryouts for the 2010 season in December.

In addition, the East County Hot Shots girls softball players will be teaming up with Debbie Nelson and All American Sports Academy for the 2009 Winter Warm-Up Softball Extravaganza on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oakley Elementary School, 501 Norcross Lane.
