Tim Clements, 20, and Michael Bacani, 19, were traveling westbound on Wilbur Avenue when Clements lost control of the vehicle, which struck a signal light pole on the northwest corner of the intersection of Wilbur Avenue and Fulton Shipyard Road, causin
g major damage to the vehicle’s driver’s side. Clements sustained serious injuries and was transported to John Muir Medical Center for treatment. At press time, his condition was listed as stable.
Bacani was transported to Sutter Delta Medical Center, where he was treated and released for minor injuries.

Nov. 29, 5:49 a.m.
Officers of the Antioch Police Department responded to the report of a disturbance in the area of West Fourth and L streets.
Upon arrival, officers stopped a vehicle leaving the scene and discovered four subjects in the vehicle, including an 18-year-old Antioch resident suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was transferred by air to a hospital for treatment and is currently in critical condition.
The occupants of the vehicle cooperated with officers and voluntarily came to the Antioch Police Department to provide statements.

Nov. 30, 7:11 a.m.
Officers responded to the report of a stabbing at 1209 Rockspring Way and found a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds to her upper body and head. She was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Information was obtained from witnesses at the scene that the assailant, 24-year-old Antioch resident Malcolm Williams (the father of the victim’s children), had possibly fled toward the BART Station in Bay Point.
A Contra Costa County deputy working in that area spotted Williams and took him into custody.
Williams was arrested and taken to Martinez Detention Facility. The investigation is ongoing.
