Musician Jason Hardy (aka Highst), a 2003 Freedom High and 2007 UC Santa Barbara graduate, has released his first CD, “All the World’s a Stage,” as a member of Greenize, a California-based hip hop group.

Hardy attended UCSB on a swimming scholarship but has always been involved the arts and especially music. He graduated from UCSB with a bachelor of arts degree with a major in art.

In the words of the group’s Web site, “Having been artists and hip hop heads most of their lives, they are fully equipped to represent this new generation of music we’re all enjoying. Whether you laugh, cry, sing along, or just listen, there is always a message infused with the music. Greenize is about many things. But most importantly, Greenize is about living life to the fullest and spreading the vibe. Let the music dump.”
