The Liberty Union High School District Board of Trustees recognized two employees who are retiring after serving the district nearly 60 years between them.

Cafeteria worker Gladys (Sue) Standridge has worked 32 years, and Principal’s Secretary Beverly von Krakau 25 years, both at Liberty High School.

After being presented with a coveted personalized blanket as a retirement gift, each addressed the board and audience with a few words about their work, the friends they have made in the community and their plans for retirement.
