Sutter Delta Medical Center CEO Gary Rapaport, left, and SDMC Director of Philanthropy and Community Benefits Rudeen Monte present a check for $12,500 to Pastor Larry Roper of Light Ministries Church last weekend for the Bread of Life organization, a community food bank and charity program.

Sutter Delta’s donation will help the program continue to feed local families and launch a food giveaway program for diabetics. The Light Ministries Church has run the program for more than 25 years.

Bread of Life provides weekly groceries and warm meals to East County residents in need.
