Students at Old River School in the Knightsen School District opened their hearts and their piggy banks this fall during the Kids Helping Kids (KHK) Piglets for Change program.

Since October, students helped raise funds for their financially strapped school through the KHK program.

Last week, Kids Helping Kids Founder Laura Page presented school principal Ray Witte with a check for $2,084.59.
