Former Discovery Bay resident Val Lao took his Hometown Weekly Newspaper on a summer trip to the iconic Grand Canyon, where he experienced the new Skywalk Glass Bridge, featuring a see-through floor nearly 4,000 feet above the Canyon floor and panoramic views of the Colorado River and west Canyon.
