FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

01-05-10 1155AM

Fix It Automotive in Antioch will be celebrating its Grand Opening on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 2210 W. 10th St., the former AAMCO building.

Fix It Automotive is managed by Pittsburg native and pillar of the community Dietrick Burks.

The Grand Opening celebration will be kicked off by a ribbon-cutting ceremony by members of the Antioch Chamber of Commerce. Live entertainment will be provided by the Carnival of All Stars Blues Society band and augmented by a special guest appearance by former Kansas City Chiefs Safety Shaunard Harts and 106.1 KMEL. The event also features free food, raffles and jumpers for children.

“We want the community to come out and have a good time,” said Burks. “We just want to do something for the community that no one else is doing. Having a grand opening celebration like this will give us a chance to introduce ourselves to more people in the community, offer discounted services to assist the public during the current state of the economy and have a good time.”

Fix It Automotive, in business for more than eight years, is comprised of a team of certified mechanics with more than 25 years of experience. For more information, call Keyon Johnson at 925-354-8201.

For my own viewing purposes I made a special visit to this establishment and was very impressed with the location and since of comfort. Secondly, I was greeted in a very welcoming manner and actually felt that my need were of priority to the Fix It employees. From my experience I would give the auto repair station a five star for it's welcoming environment and customer oriented service.
