Students from O’Hara Park Middle School, above, supplemented donations from Gehringer, Laurel and Oakley elementary students by recently collecting more than 1,500 pairs of shoes for Haitian relief.

The shoes were brought to Sport Chalet in Antioch as part of the company’s Soles4Souls charity program.
