Brentwood residents Bob and Gail Groff stuffed a copy of the Brentwood Press into their luggage on a recent trip to Mexico, and flashed it in front of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Puerto Vallarta.

The church is a landmark, and the locals are proud of it. “We too have developed a fondness for the church,” says Bob, “and have attended mass here.”

The Groffs took advantage of Puerto Vallarta’s sun-drenched skies and got tanned, while their Hometown Weekly Newspaper, of course, simply got bleached.
