Amy Meyer, right, and her mother JoAnn decorate businesses along Main Street with purple bows as part of Oakley’s Paint the Town Purple campaign to create awareness for Relay For Life, which is scheduled for May 1-2.

Members of the community, including volunteers from Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops 298 and students from Freedom High School, spent Tuesday afternoon covering the city in purple bows and ribbons.

The Paint the Town Purple event continues through the month of April.
